I was just driving past this field and the red houses in the distance really caught my eye, so I stopped at the side of the road and wandered over to the hedgerow to have a look. I really love layering elements, it’s something I’ve been concentrating on with my photography recently.

That first image is probably my favourite landscape that I’ve ever shot. It would be a perfect location for a couple of photos on a pre-wedding shoot. I love playing with depth of field on landscapes, it really puts things into perspective.

I’m trying something a little different with my post processing, on landscapes at least; it’s making me love black and white so much more.
The top two images were shot with my lensbaby tilt shift lens – I didn’t used to like this lens too much but it’s definitely starting to grow on me.
