I started photographing weddings in 2006. As with many other photographers the first was a favour for a family member. At the time I wasn't too sure what I was getting into...
I am a contemporary Wedding and Portrait Photographer in the Home Counties area; Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. I take modern photos and images, with a classic and timeless twist that I feel displays my both diverse inspirations for photography and my unique flair.

Pauline and Bill were married in St Joseph’s Church, Bedford and the lovely reception was held at the Bedford Swan Hotel.

Wedding Photographers in hot countries – I do not envy you! It was 28 degrees for Kelly and Steve’s wedding, any hotter and I don’t think I’d have survived!
We couldn’t have hoped for more gorgeous weather for this lovely day. The ceremony was at Flamstead Church in Hertfordshire, it’s a lovely little church with loads of character.
The reception was at Whipsnade, which is a seriously awesome wedding venue! We had great fun feeding the giraffes and riding around on the Safari Bus, there was no shortage of fantastic locations for photos there either.

My editing schedule has recently exploded due to the many weddings and portrait shoots that Summer brings. Here is a recent portrait session from the lake in St Albans.
We had a great time walking around the massive park in Saint Albans for this portrait session. I had scouted the area about half an hour before Jana and Scott were due to arrive and found plenty of awesome locations for backgrounds.
I work pretty quickly when I’m shooting, when I know I’ve got the shot I move straight on to the next location or sub-location to get more variety. Jana and Scott were so easy to work with that I had 90% of what I had planned out completed within about half an hour!

I’ve been incredibly busy with weddings, portraits and engagement sessions recently. It’s been really exciting and also quite challenging, there is just so much editing to do! Anyway I love a challenge so it’s been super fun
